I've been using the Internet since 1992 and the web slightly less time. By the mid-1990s I'd collected about 3000 links, and maintained them using a tool written in Common Lisp. Inspired by Everything, I replaced my old system with a new one, using a database engine and designed so I could edit the nodes and links via a web browser. A year or two ago I re-wrote it in Perl. Finally, I'll re-write it in Scheme. (I need to port it to Linux, anyway.)
This is the system that I still use today.
The really crap weblog below, maintained using various bits of code, was started in April 2000. That's why it looks a bit sparse at the moment. I know I should do more than just add it to a webring, but I can't be arsed.
Disatisfied? Then perhaps you'll be happier with
John V. Keogh's
Wibbly WebLog.
"You can never browse enough."
